Since 2008, here are the big things I bought so far :
1. Medela Freestyle breastpump (Dec 2008)
2. a Fitness Concept Treadmill.. I dun remember the brand now (Dec 2009)
3. 11.6" Dell Inspiron notebook (Nov 2010)
4. iPhone 4 (Dec 2010)
5. iPad (for DH) (Dec 2010)
Up until last month, I always said that that Medela FS was my best buy thus far. But now… trrrrrrrrrrr *drum roll* it's my iPhone 4!!
I love love love my iPhone more than I ever imagined I would. Before this my criteria was just to upgrade my hp to something that can take nice pictures and to have a good messaging feature. And not forgeting a noise-cancelling mic for making calls.
I found all that on my iPhone and so so much more. For starters, the retina display is superb and makes looking at my photos an amazing experience. I love taking pictures and looking at them, so this is a big bonus for me. And not only looking at my photos on my iPhone, I love looking at everythig on the iPhone, period. The display (the color rendition, the sharpness, the ability to read even tiny fonts on blogs) is just so so pretty. I just want to keep on looking at anything on my iPhone all the time.
And then came all those apps. Those apps that can save you time, entertain you, make life easier, effiecient helper. Those apps that I never knew I would come to love so much! I'm not so much into games (DH and my sis are, btw) so my cup of tea would be cooking and recipe apps, photo enhancer apps, banking apps, utilities apps. And the app I love most, no prize for guessing, my SmugWallet app! (I have a Smugmug acount and have made a mental note to blog about how great Smugmug is, but let's just do that in another post).
I love listening to my collection of songs… u know, the songs I've collected since my uni days. From that time when we just got Streamyx at home and it was those long 3-months breaks. But my songs were always scattered everywhere.. Some in external hd, some in notebook, some in company notebook, some in home pc, etc. But now! Hehehehe now i've made the effort (and still in the process) of putting together the songs on my new notebook, and syncing them all to my iPhone's iPod. iPhone's sound quality is very good and now I enjoy listening to my songs at work. No hassle of bringing extra devices. Just my iPhone. *heart!!!*
I know this will be the one device that I will love the most for many years to come *wink*
p/s : for those planning to buy a new phone, and can afford the price tag of RM2.6k (or below 2k, if you are a Maxis subscriber), pls pls buy an iPhone 4!
Till next time, tata~~!
